Here is Josiah's 1st time in his baby pool. Benny & I got him all lathered up with sunscreen, dressed in his new "little swimmers" diaper, covered his head with his sweet little hat and off we went to the backyard.
Mommy, I don't know what I'm getting into.
He didn't show signs of being fearful of the water yet and of course I (Julie) am bound and determined to not let him grown
to be afraid. Poor boy.
Me & my Mommy!!
What a cute little belly button!
I like splashing & kicking my feet Poppy!
Look Nana, I can swim...okay not really, but I can sure kick my legs :)
We'll have to look into baby swimming lessons!
Lets get rid of that hat for a bit and get some water in your face kid!
I Love You Little Buddy!!
The only time he cried was when Daddy had him "float" on his back.
He didn't care much for that at first.
All right Aunt Bebe, here I go with my new crab float and little boats you got for me.
Watch my little feet already pushing off the bottom of the pool. Thanks to the exersaucer, or as Lanford says "the neglectomatic", my legs are stronger. I'd be doing better if Mommy would just quit taking pictures of me and get out of my way.
Yippeee...I really seem to like this, at least I did for a short time...I'm sick of this one.
During parts of this video, you can't completely tell whether he is upset by the noises he is making or if he is just making noises. I'm thinking he was pretty ready to get out. What do you think?
(Thanks Uncle Josh for loaning us your Flip Video to help capture these magical moments!)
OH, how much I love this boy of mine (ours)!
How amazing being his mommy feels!
I humbly thank you Lord.
