Our Day at Hill Ridge Farms

Saturday, October 04, 2008 We had so much fun introducing Josiah to all the fun things a farm can offer today. Can you believe that we have lived in Wake Forest/Youngsville for over 4 years and have never actually gone to Hill Ridge Farms before? We were so excited to see a neat restaurant there as well. I just wish I had known about their homemade fudge this time last year (while I was pregnant), but know it did my body good to have not known :)

The Giant Pumpkin below.....625 lbs. It was protected by glass so no one could touch it. I imagined what Josiah would look like sitting on top of it. :)

I AM 2 FEET TALL!!! AT MY 6-MONTH APPOINTMENT, I WAS IN THE 90% IN HEIGHT. IS ANYONE SURPRISED? :)

FEEDING THE FISH & DUCKS

HERE ARE SOME OF THE ANIMALS...

CAN I PLAY IN THE CORN TOO???

HIS 1ST TRAIN RIDE WAS SO FUN! THANKS TO HIS BUDDY SAM FOR THE FUN HALLOWEEN SHIRT!!

I HAVE A FUN GRIN BEHIND MY "BINKI"

JOSIAH'S 1ST HAYRIDE...ON OUR WAY TO THE PUMPKIN PATCH TO PICK OUT A PUMPKIN FOR EACH OF US. THE BREEZE ON THE RIDE FELT SO NICE ON THIS WARM DAY.

ALRIGHT SON, WHAT PUMPKIN DO YOU WANT? HERE WE GO...

WHAT A FAMILY! I LOVE OUR LIFE!!!

NOTHING LIKE A BABY STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF A PUMPKIN PATCH...

HE HAS BEEN POKING HIS LIPS OUT THE LAST FEW WEEKS. IT REALLY MAKES ME LAUGH.

MOM, WHY ARE YOU LEAVING ME HERE?

ME & MY NEW PUMPKIN CHILLIN' ON THE HAY MAZE.

WE TRIED GETTING HIM TO WEAR HIS SUNGLASSES (BABY BANDS...GOTTA PROMOTE MY OFFICE!!!), BUT EVERYTIME I PLACED THEM ON HIS HEAD HE WOULD CRY. I GUESS I DIDN'T START HIM WEARING THEM EARLY ENOUGH.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TODAY!!!!!!
